Lesson 8 – Exercise 1: Troubleshooting Player Connectivity Issues

The first time you connect a mouse to your player (Pro V4 or Pico MK5) make sure to connect a mouse to your player and follow the instructions below

You will see the serial number, Clevertouch Technologies Logo, and Hamburger menu on the homescreen.

Select the hamburger menu, then select ‘Diagnostics’

At the bottom of the initial screen, the hamburger menu is on you will see a status update, if this is red, it means you are not connected to the internet.

If all 6 tests do not pass (pass is indicated in the results section of the table) please ask your IT adminstrator for assistance. Your IT adminstrator simply needs to be informed that this player is a Windows PC-based solution and needs connecting to the internet with the following firewall details and whitelisted server.

Whitelist details

217.160.168.158 –  www.clevertouchlive.com  |   live.clevertouchlive.com

87.106.215.81 – www.sedaolive.com   | live.sedaolive.com

Click exit within the Hamburger menu on the homescreen, to get a windows desktop, from which they can connect to the network using standard Windows networking.
